These Terms of Service govern access to and use of vefy.org and related public review surfaces. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Effective date: August 25, 2026.
Vefy provides public pages, investigation surfaces, election-guide pages, live narrative rooms, search tools, submission workflows, and related features that help users review public claims, source material, timelines, and public-interest context.
Vefy may add, remove, pause, or redesign features at any time. Some features may be experimental, incomplete, or available only in limited workflows.
Do not use Vefy to break the law, violate privacy rights, infringe intellectual property, or evade platform, contract, or court restrictions.
Do not interfere with the platform, scrape it in a way Vefy disallows, bypass rate limits or security controls, or attempt unauthorized access.
Do not submit malware, credential dumps, doxxing material, or content intended to harass, impersonate, or endanger others.
Do not imply that Vefy endorses you, that a named subject endorsed a Vefy page, or that Vefy content is an official statement from the subject of a page.
If you submit links, documents, screenshots, notes, comments, or other materials, you represent that you have the right to share them and that your submission does not violate law, contract, privacy rights, or third-party rights.
You grant Vefy a non-exclusive right to host, store, process, reproduce, format, analyze, summarize, and display submitted material as needed to operate the service, review the submission, preserve an audit trail, and publish public-facing outputs where the workflow or the public nature of the material makes that appropriate.
Submitting evidence, corrections, statements, or response materials does not buy placement, sponsorship status, or editorial control over what Vefy ultimately publishes.
Vefy may publish profiles, investigations, narrative analysis, rankings, election-guide pages, and other public-interest coverage about creators, companies, political candidates, publishers, and other subjects. Unless Vefy expressly labels a page or placement as sponsored or paid, that coverage is independently selected and produced by Vefy.
Inclusion on Vefy does not imply endorsement, affiliation, partnership, approval, participation, or review by the person or organization being discussed. Users may not present a Vefy page as an official page for the named subject unless the page explicitly says that it is official.
Vefy may link to third-party websites, platforms, public records, and external media. Vefy is not responsible for third-party content, availability, policies, or later changes on those sites.
The Vefy service, design, software, branding, compilation choices, and platform content are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you.
You retain whatever rights you have in material you submit, subject to the license above and any rights that may belong to third parties.
Vefy pages are informational and analytical. They do not replace professional advice, legal counsel, medical care, financial guidance, or official government instructions.
Vefy is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Features, records, and external links can change, break, or go stale.
Even when Vefy works carefully, public-source analysis can be partial, disputed, time-sensitive, or later revised.
Vefy may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or restrict features if it reasonably believes a user violated these terms, created legal or security risk, abused the service, or threatened other users or subjects.
Vefy may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
