Vefy is built around public-information analysis, but privacy still matters.

Some Vefy surfaces are public by design, including public reports, election guides, coverage maps, and other published analysis pages. Other information, like account details, draft work, and some submitted materials, may stay private unless Vefy clearly marks them for public use.

If you submit material to Vefy, do not send confidential information, private passwords, or anything you are not allowed to share. If a page on Vefy names a creator, publisher, business, or public figure, that does not mean the person or organization endorsed, sponsored, or participated in the page.

Name, email, account details, messages, uploads, links, notes, evidence packets, feedback, and other content you choose to send through the service.

Submission content

URLs, documents, screenshots, transcripts, source notes, and related metadata attached to a review, report, or investigation workflow.

Usage and device data

IP address, browser type, operating system, page views, referral data, approximate timestamps, crash data, and interaction logs used to operate, protect, and improve the service.

Local storage and session data

Vefy may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for sign-in state, saved preferences, performance, abuse prevention, and product analytics.

5. Public pages versus private workflows

Some Vefy surfaces are meant to be public.

Public reports, live rooms, election guides, coverage maps, and similar pages may be visible to anyone and may be indexed by search engines. Draft notes, private workspaces, internal review states, and some source-submission material may remain private unless Vefy clearly marks them for public publication.

If you use a workflow that contributes to a public page, Vefy may quote, summarize, classify, or link to the information you submitted if that is consistent with the visible workflow, the public nature of the material, or the service terms.

6. When Vefy may share information
