This page explains how Vefy handles independent profiles, sponsored content, and submitted evidence in plain language. Effective date: August 25, 2026.

Plain-language summary

The short version

Vefy independently selects the people, stories, narratives, investigations, and topics it covers.

Unless a page is clearly labeled otherwise, Vefy coverage is not sponsored, commissioned, approved, or paid for by the person, company, creator, organization, or other party being discussed.

If someone sends Vefy documents, statements, corrections, or other evidence, that still does not give them editorial control over Vefy's analysis or conclusions.

1. How Vefy decides what to cover

Editorial selection stays with Vefy.

Vefy decides what to investigate, profile, compare, or organize based on public-interest value, narrative impact, source availability, and whether the subject would benefit from a clearer public record.

Being featured on Vefy does not mean the subject asked to be featured, approved the page, partnered with Vefy, or participated in building the final public output.

3. Content classifications

Three classifications are built into the system.

Independent

Vefy independently selected and produced the coverage. No payment was made for placement.

Sponsored

Someone paid for or sponsored the placement or content. If Vefy publishes this type of content, it will be labeled clearly and prominently.

Submitted Evidence

A subject, representative, attorney, company, source, or other interested party submitted documents, statements, corrections, or evidence to Vefy. That does not turn the page into sponsored content.

4. Submitted evidence and responses

Participation can improve the record without changing who controls the page.

Subjects and their representatives may submit documents, corrections, statements, or responses. Vefy can review that material, compare it with public sources, and update a page if the record materially changes.

That process can improve completeness and fairness. It does not let the submitting party dictate wording, suppress coverage, or control Vefy's findings.

5. Sponsored content

If Vefy ever publishes sponsored material, it should look clearly different.

Vefy may offer sponsored content, partnerships, or paid placements in the future. If that happens, the page or placement will be clearly and prominently labeled so readers do not confuse it with standard independent Vefy coverage.
